Ghost Hunters - Season 11

Over 120 years old, the Armory is home to one of the state's longest running militias. This was a men's only organization, but today a woman, Kristin, is running the Armory. Is that why the paranormal activity has kicked up in the last two years? Are the ghosts mad that a female is in charge?

Ghost Hunters - Season 11

There could be another possible ghost in the building. Lou, a former beloved caretaker who lived there, dropped dead of a heart attack right in the meeting room. Could he be responsible for the increased paranormal activity, possibly in response to renovations going on?

One of the wildest claims in 11 seasons of Ghost Hunters: One night at 3 a.m. all the security alarms went off. The police respond to find an empty building. Upon review of security footage, Kristin sees an orb and what looks like snow flurries in the room right before the alarms went off. What is that about?

There is a lot of area to cover in an Armory, so GoPros will be critical. Kristin is hopeful that the team will confirm the ghost is Lou. But there is a strong chance with all the military artifacts, construction and presence of women in the building that there are some angry ex-soldier spirits gearing up to battle against change.

The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) team has been investigating hauntings across America for over 10 seasons of Ghost Hunters. Jason and Grant added something special to the reality television landscape with a show that follows the spiritual world. The audience for the paranormal became so wide that the franchise expanded into Ghost Hunters International.

Updated on February 11th, 2021 by Kristen Palamara: Shows and movies about the possibility of a supernatural world continue to be a popular genre for fans of mystery and horror and the supernatural specifically ghosts and demons. Ghost Hunters is a fun balance of documentary, soap opera, and reality television as the team of researchers try to present a world of authentic paranormal and supernatural investigation, but there are some dramatics in the series as well that aren't as realistic at times. It's a fun show for any fan of reality television and the supernatural and there are over 250 episodes to watch.

Sharp claims to have witnessed strange paranormal activity during his tenure at the establishment. Sharp calls in the Ghost Hunters to help him prove the activity as one of his good friends is looking to buy the property from him, and Sharp wants to properly warn her even though she doesn't believe in ghosts.

The Ghost Hunters crew couldn't resist an investigation into the hotel that inspired Stephen King's novel The Shining. The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado has had more than its fair share of hauntings and ghost sightings over the years. From creepy ghost kids running down the halls to thieving ghosts who steal jewelry, TAPS has plenty of material to work with. The Stanley Hotel is so scary that even the concierge doesn't like showing certain parts of the premises after dark.

In season 11, TAPS investigated Westerly Library in Westerly, Rhode Island, a location that is close to home for the crew. The library had recently been given landmark status when the staff reported hearing footsteps, seeing objects move, and even seeing the apparition of a librarian that had recently passed away.

The staff contacted TAPS to find out if the ghosts are malevolent or if it's safe for them to keep working there. The library was once used as a temporary morgue for the bodies found after a hurricane swept through the state.

The crew visits The Athenaeum, a cultural center located in Indianapolis, Indiana that has stood there for over 100 years. Mustafa discovers that Dr. Knabe, a female physician who died horrifically two blocks away from the building, is connected with it. Many have reported seeing her ghost haunting the halls of the cultural center, but the gang's first night in the building is quiet. Grant decides to try a new tactic the crew has never used before to entice the ghost. The new strategy might also call out the spirits of others that aren't Dr. Knabe.

The owner of the Pillars Estate in Albion, New York claims a great deal of spiritual activity is taking place on the grounds. The estate's owner reports pianos playing on their own and seeing ghostly figures on the bed. Photos taken throughout the years have shown a mysterious woman in the house's window. The TAPS team first tries to prove such photos can't be real but has a hard time explaining some other creepy activity in the estate. Still, they managed to prove at least one photo was a fake.

Jason and Grant visit the legendary St. Augustine Lighthouse in Florida. There are several spirits attached to the historical site, from a lighthouse keeper who committed suicide in the building to the ghost of a little girl who runs around the premises.

Whether it's visitors or employees who report on the ghost activity, there are enough sightings to make the TAPS team excited about visiting the eighth tallest lighthouse in the oldest city in the United States. The lighthouse's tragic history adds to the haunting atmosphere.

"Fifteen years after introducing the world to the field of authentic paranormal investigation, Ghost Hunters returns to television on Wednesday, August 21st at 9 p.m. ET. The series that terrified and captivated fans for 11 seasons will follow one of the original team leaders, Grant Wilson, and his handpicked group of professional ghost hunters as they use their decades of field experience to investigate hauntings across the country. Engaging forensic experts, historical records and the most innovative technology available, the new squad will help everyday people who are struggling with unexplained supernatural phenomena.

Debuting in 2004 on the erstwhile Sci-Fi Channel, the legacy of the docusoap, where a team of investigators (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) seek to debunk or affirm claims of ghostly activity, cannot be ignored. The show was a hit for the network for a while, and at its peak, pulled about three million viewers per episode. It is heretofore Syfy's longest-running series, and ushered in an era of similarly-themed reality-TV shows. But the series, arguably with the exception of Travel Channel's long-running Ghost Adventures, is the only one to truly become part of the pop culture lexicon and break through to the mainstream.

Co-founders, and original co-leads, Grant Wilson and Hawes (famously Roto-Rooter plumbers by day, busters by night) appeared on late-night talk shows and The Today Show, and the series was spoofed on Saturday Night Live, and South Park. It spawned spinoffs, live episodes, merchandise, apps, and ghosthunting events at famously "haunted" landmarks. The Ghost Hunters lingo, and use of night vision cameras, and other gadgets, could also be felt throughout movies and scripted TV, such as Paranormal Activity, The Conjuring, and Supernatural, among others.

Amidst a prank war, Sam and Dean travel to Richardson, Texas to visit a reputedly haunted house where they run into Ed and Harry repeatedly. The legend of the ghost thought to be haunting the house is that of Mordechai Murdoch but the Winchesters are unable to find any evidence other than what is posted on the Ghostfacers website. Sam thinks that as people view the website, they are willing into reality what they read there and therefore creating the ghost. In order to "kill off" Mordechai, the boys tell Ed and Harry that they have found out that being shot with iron rounds will kill him. They wait for the boys to post it on their website, and enough people view it for it to become real.

The Ghostfacers team, made up of Ed, Harry, Maggie, Spruce, and Corbett decide to investigate the Morton House and the so-called Leap-Year Ghost that appears every February 29th to haunt the house that supposedly no one has stayed a whole night to see. The team breaks into the house and sets up their equipment before searching for ghosts. While looking, Ed and Corbett encounter Sam and Dean who are also hunting the house and pretend the cops to get them out before they recognize each other from Texas. At the same time, Maggie, Spruce, and Harry encounter a Death Echo, a ghost that is trapped in an eternal loop of its death. They reunite with the others and Sam and Dean try to get them to leave before midnight as no one that has ever entered the house to stay the night has lived to tell the tale, all disappearing. However, Corbett heads off to try to contact any ghosts by himself and is abducted by the ghost of Freeman Daggett. Soon afterwards, midnight arrives and the house enters a supernatural lock-down in which no one can leave. The Ghostfacers, Sam and Dean locate Daggett's den and encounter another Death Echo which Sam explains about to them.

In Don't Go In The Woods, Lebanon teenager Eliot has become interested in the Ghostfacers after seeing John Wayne Gacy's ghost and learning what's really out there, much to the annoyance of Max. When the teenagers meet Jack, a Ghostfacers video is playing on Eliot's cell phone in which Ed and Harry are seen mentioning how annoying they find the Winchesters. The video appears to be the same one from It's A Terrible Life that the Winchesters watched when Zachariah wiped their memories.

Two years after hunting the Morton House, the Ghostfacers are still a team but haven't managed to find another real ghost since Freeman Daggett. They consider the Winchesters their rivals and douchenozzles for destroying their footage and have a new intern named Dave who according to Ed and Harry is good but "no Corbett" whose death still haunts Ed who now carries an extendable iron rod to defend himself from ghosts after what happened to Corbett. The team decides to investigate a theater which is supposed to be haunted by the ghost of Janet Meyers, an actress who was murdered by her ex-husband at the theater. Before they can leave, a beautiful but not too bright girl named Ambyr arrives looking to become their intern and because of how beautiful she is, the guys immediately fire Dave and hire her. 041b061a72
